When learning a foreign language our students apart from the technicalities, they also learn to question everything by employing their critical thinking skills, they learn to break down the stereotypes and to find opportunities in every challenge that might come their way.

Our new Program:

Deeper Learning

Having completed the B1 level, our students are initiated into our Deeper Learning program, which aims to their developing important skills in English. The program is CLIL oriented (Content and Language Integrated Learning); this means that we approach a variety of topics in English, through critical thinking, questioning & debating, analysis, and philosophical thinking.

At the same time the students are taught academic skills like conducting small research projects, how to compose references, how to write and approach the probing questions of a research paper.

What is DEEPER LEARNING?

Our new program for B2 (Lower), C2 (Proficiency) and POST-PROF classes (after Proficiency) is a unique and innovative educational approach applied in our school.

What do our students learn via DEEPER LEARNIING?

In essence we learn about many different things not only around us but also about us, in English.

What else is happening in DEEPER LEARNING?

Apart from the above mentioned, our students gain Life Skills, they cooperate for a Project, give speeches in front of an audience, they do research, they evaluate themselves, they learn not to be satisfied by “easy” answers, they mediate, they change. Finally, they learn moral values: respect, tolerance, cooperation, acceptance, seeking the truth.

The DEEPER LEARNING program is also designed for Post-Proficiency students and adults who desire to maintain a connection with the language.
