We do not “typically” teach foreign
languages by the book. On the contrary,
our teaching methods are based on
presentations, debates, holistic-type
lessons, interactive notebooks and so on.

One thing that makes our teaching stand
out is our persuading our students to
freely express themselves in the language
they are studying from an early stage and
to always further analyze their thoughts.
This way our learners become self-confident and own their opinions by strengthening their oral skills depending on the variety of topics they are discussing or the audience they are talking to. This process is the corner stone of knowing what they are talking about for the after-school journey of our students’ when they have to take part in an interview.

Of course there is no better way for a
learner to get to speak the language
they are learning other than visiting
that said country itself.
While on a trip to this country, besides the educating aspect of it where we visit museums, attractions etc, our students are asked to interactively engage with conversations with the locals asking for information/directions, ordering food, watching musicals and generally understanding the culture of the place we are visiting.
All of the above simply fall into the “experiential learning” methodology our school implements in order to create unforgettable memories as well as to find the drive to accomplish big things in their future lives.

It is our belief that when teaching a language, its culture must also be taught.
Therefore we organize Christmas, Thanksgiving and other events and we make sure that our students get hands-on experience of the country’s culture, traditions and customs.
To achieve that, we make sure we organize a different event or excursion every month!
